Training Specialist

The individual will work independently or under the supervision of an Implementation Coordinator to train both new and existing clients on Net Yield Software and assist with installations and software testing. This position is responsible for providing and maintaining excellent customer service by a)  training new users and acting in concert with the implementation team, b) providing information on how to setup/use various aspects of the software,  c) effectively answering and troubleshooting telephone and email inquiries from clients, and d) troubleshooting software or application issues and escalating issues to others as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions for clients, either via phone or web conference
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and e-mail by taking and responding to client calls during regular business hours.
  • Provide support to clients by troubleshooting and researching client’s issues and escalating their problems if necessary.
  • Explanation of product features.
  • Analyze, resolve, and document client service issues and questions and provide client feedback when applicable
  • Maintain a Knowledge Base of client issues to document resolutions.
  • Assist in product testing to document any changes to the software and help create the training manual for use by the client
  • Interact with the Net Yield Support department to resolve software related issues.

Skills:

This individual must process excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.  Individual must be able to present themselves well and be able to help clients in an authoritative manner. He/she must have a high energy level, be poised under pressure and willing to do whatever it takes to meet or exceed client needs. Individual should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team to accomplish department goals yet be flexible and acceptable to changing requirements. The ability to manage multiple projects is required.

The ideal applicant would possess a working knowledge of Net Yield Software or other Inventory Control Software system along with a working knowledge of e-mail, remote connection tools, Microsoft Office, and Windows XP operating systems.

Industry experience in one or more of the following areas is also considered a plus: Sales/Order Entry, Processing and Distribution, Procurement, or Accounting.

Education:

A Bachelors or Associate degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting or Education or equal is preferred but not required. Work experience in lieu of degree will be strongly considered.

Implementation Coordinator

This is an exciting mid-level customer service position for those with planning skills who can coordinate training efforts and like to be personally involved with the installation process.  The individual will office out of our new training facility on Pier 3 (Co-op Wharf) in New Bedford, MA to install and configure Net Yield software systems, and to train both new and existing clients. He/She will coordinate both inside and outside consulting efforts, client management and our team training efforts. Other responsibilities will include answering and troubleshooting e-mail and telephone queries, troubleshooting software or application issues, issue escalation, and providing information on how to setup, use and implement various aspects of the software.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions for clients, either via phone or web conference, or on-site. Travel between 15% and 30% may be required to local clients or clients across the country.
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and e-mail by taking and responding to client calls during regular business hours.
  • Provide support to clients by troubleshooting and researching client’s issues and either dealing directly with those issues that have been escalated from other departments or routing issues to other knowledgeable team members.
  • Explaining of product features and benefits
  • Analyze, resolve, and document client service issues and questions: respond verbally and/or in e-mail or other written correspondence to clients when applicable
  • Maintain a Knowledge Base of client issues to document resolutions.
  • Assist in product testing to document any changes to the software and help maintain the training manual.
  • Direct resolution of client service related problems interfacing with all levels of internal resources.
  • Interact with the Net Yield Support department to resolve software related issues and testing.
  • Notify clients of software updates and schedule their implementation.

Skills:

This individual must process excellent oral and written communication skills, instructional development and presentation skills and motivational skills for good job performance. Must have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently. Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel and with clients. He/she must have a high energy level, be poised under pressure and willing to do whatever it takes to meet or exceed client needs. Individual should be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team to accomplish department goals yet be flexible and acceptable to changing requirements.

Applicant must have 3-5 years of working knowledge of Net Yield Software or other Inventory Control Software system along with knowledge of e-mail, remote connection, Microsoft Office, Windows XP, Web based conferencing. Prior experience with help desk or other software support is desirable.

3-5 Years of industry expertise is required in one or more of the following areas: Sales/Order Entry, Processing and Distribution, Procurement, or Accounting.

Education:

A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting or Education or equal is required
